About Me
Hi! I'm Deborah Rowlinson, Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), passionate about walking with people through both the challenges and the transformations that life brings.
I integrate evidence-based clinical practices such as Person-Centered, Cognitive-Behavioral, Emotion-Focused, Strengths-Based, and Internal Family Systems therapy approaches with the opportunity to draw upon the rich wisdom of faith for those who desire it. For some clients, this may mean prayer, scripture, or faith-centered reflection and understanding how it impacts their current life stage. For others, it may mean focusing on practical coping skills, emotional awareness, and relational growth. Wherever you are, I will meet you there—whether faith is central to your healing, or you prefer a strictly clinical approach.

Based on your needs, here are some examples that we might find ourselves working on, together:
-
Negative self-talk → to cultivating a deeper sense of worth, direction, and empowerment.
-
Feeling lost in life transitions → to navigating change with confidence, resilience, and clarity.
-
Persistent anxiety → to using calm, grounding strategies that restore peace of mind.
-
Perfectionism → to embracing self-compassion and celebrating progress over perfection.
-
Overwhelming grief → to honoring loss while rediscovering meaning and joy.
-
Isolation in relationships → to building stronger, healthier connections through communication and boundaries.
-
Pregnancy & Postpartum struggles → to finding balance, support, and renewed hope in motherhood.
-
Catastrophizing → to living with peace and acceptance of what can’t be controlled.
